Michael Mercurio has appeared primarily in film & theatre. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Michael Mercurio studied art during his young adult life in Brooklyn, New York, then moving to Chicago to study acting. After completing an acting conservatory in Chicago, he was offered a scholarship with the Chicago Actor’s Studio, under the tutelage of Edward Dennis Fogell and attended The Second City in Chicago. Upon moving to Los Angeles, he landed a number of supporting roles in various independent films.
In addition to film & theatre, Michael Mercurio is an accomplished fine artist based out of Los Angeles, known for his unique freestanding & high relief sculptures, along with mixed media; and is a former member of The Actors’ Gang theatre company in Los Angeles, CA.
